Vegetavles should be the foundation of our diet.

Veggies have tons of phytonutrients, fiber, and antioxidants, and they are super alkalizing. They should make up 3-5 cups of what we eat each day.

Green veggies are the most nutrient-dense, with watercress being the highest. Put greens in smoothies, make a big green salad every day, bake them, steam them, and add colorful veggies in a soup.

Lower glycemic, such as the following, are better for keeping blood sugar stable:

  • Pears
  • Apples
  • Berries
  • Lime
  • Lemons

Green banana is a great pre biotic, called a resistant starch.
