Make Your Own Nut Butters

vegan, gluten-free

Total Time: 10 minutes

Serving Size: 1 bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw nuts (preferably soaked and dehydrated)
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Instructions:

Place ingredients into food processor and run on high for 3-5 minutes until the nuts turn into butter.

Store your nut butter in an air tight container in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about 2 weeks.

**When using nuts (or beans, for that matter) soaking and dehydating is very important because it helps break down enzyme inhibitors that disrupt your ability to digest and absorb many of the nutrients in the nuts as well as the food you are enjoying with the nuts!
