Heart healthy oils-try to rotate
Cold pressed olive oil is best and should not be heated. Put on salads or on food after it is on your plate.
All the seed oils are delicate and should not be heated.
Ghee can be heated to 450 degrees and taste buttery. It is the oil from butter minus the casein.
Avocado oil can be heated to 520 degrees.
Coconut oil if expressed (which is the best for you) is delicate in heat. You can use low to medium heat , but I would just put over warm food and it will melt.
If oils get to smoking point they are not good for your body, causing inflammation. Just throw it out and start over.
All nuts can tolerate more heat and are good for you.
